Depends if POTA are going to keep SSRS running in W.A.

If that happens will that mean no operations in WA, as Greentrains are not a rail operator?

D49 is currently coupled to the AK coaches at Kalgoorlie, the light engine working from Perth was probably the first working (in WA) under POTA ownership.
Guess there will be speculation about what locos changed ownership, until a formal announcement is made.

POTA has completed the acquisition of South Spur/ Silverton from Coote Industrial. Interesting to see that POTA intends to rename its rail division to Qube Rail (Qube being its major shareholder). By the looks of it POTA have elected to buy outright many of the locos & rollingstock assets rather than lease from Cootes Greentrains. The focus appears to be on the eastern seaboard with no mention of the W.A. operations. It will be interesting to see what happens to things like F40 and if it stays with Greentrains.

ADVP277B former CR intersystem brake van converted to crew car in 2005 by SSRS in undergoing heavy overhaul at Bellevue

ADVP277B has had quite a makeover, it is now a 5 bedroom coach, new fridge/freezer, genset and LCD flat screens in every bedroom.
And a fresh coat of all over SSRS blue with white roof - Not EI84, but not bad accomodation.

It was going to Bonnie Vale to meet up with D48/D49 on the SSRS crew car.

Were all 4 lashed in multi? If so, how? NA1874 would have the US standard system, whereas the K class had EE. Anyone?

David

It was K206/K210/K205/NA1874 on the ARTC ballast which got into Parkeston at 9.00pm after a taking around 15 hrs to get from Loongana after an overnight stop at Reid.
A ballast train on a busy thursday does not get any special treatment from the controllers
