Here's the complete list of my sightings from a few days in Kalgoorlie.

Tuesday 1st June 2010.
- 442 called through Malcolm at 1100 hrs.
- 3PW4 with NR50 refuelling at Parkeston 1402 hrs, departed with proceed authority W38 at 1417 hrs.
- Empty cars WDA002 and WDB012 left Kal loco for dock at 1435 hrs.
- WP2 NR16, NR9, RZEY3F and BRS221 departed West Kal at 1455 hrs.
- Q4001 ran the arvo 3C73 / 3C74 light engine to Parkeston, lime wagons back.
- 1MP5 with NR55 was at Golden Ridge 3708 tonnes for 1538 metres, didn’t see this.
- AC4304 and LZ3111 departed West Kal at 1900 hrs with 426.

Wednesday 2nd June, 2010.
- L3118 was shunting West Kal.
- 413 loaded ore with Q4011, AC4305 and Q4017 mid train. Into West Kal yard 1300 hrs. The lead locos cut off and were turned on the triangle at Binduli prior to the Prospector.
- 2MP1 arrived into West Kal with 6007, 6003 and QCAY5K with 35 vehicles, 801 metres for 1475 tonnes with proceed authority W47 at 1305 hrs.
- LZ3120, ALZ3208, Q4014 and AZWY with the oil and sand tanks arrived from Kal loco as 850? at 1313 hrs.
- 4085 Prospector operated by WDA001 and WDB011 through West Kal 1402hrs.
- 2MP1 then departed west with a crew change to take place at Bonnie Vale.
- Q4008 ran a light engine test run as A54 / A55? from loco to Binduli account ground faults and a traction motor was eventually cut out.
- 2MP5 was at Parkeston with NR64, NR25, RZBY911D and RZAY940P at 1500 hrs, fuelled and departed west on proceed authority W75 with 29 vehicles for 4191 tonnes and 1685 metres at 1600 hrs.
- 4C73, loco LZ3101.
- LQ3121 was setup for 442 to Lenora, which departed around 1625 hrs.
- 4C74, LZ3101 departed Parkeston 1635 hrs on proceed authority W76 with 7 wagons.
And the loaded ore 413 was still in the yard!

Thursday 3rd June, 2010.
- 3MP4 with NR21, NR45, RZDY106N ‘Bitten’ arrived Parkeston 0905 hrs. Had proceed authority W51 to Kalgoorlie at 0955 hrs.
- 4PW4 was causing some issues with shunting at West Kal, it finally arrived at Parkeston under W57 at 1040 hrs behind NR24 and BRS221 to cross 3MP7.
- 3MP7 with NR66 and NR67 arrived Parkeston 1105 hrs.
- 4PM6, NR9, NR16 and RZDY103J had been held at West Kal for quite some time, and headed over to Parkeston under W68 after MP7 crossed it at West Kal. It was to wait for three hours before heading east out of Parky at 1500 hrs.
Then there was some communication issues with control as a fire alarm had the building unattended for some time without warning!
- 3MP9, the much anticipated SCT service arrived at Parkeston under proceed authority W72 to cross 4PM6. Consist was SCT007 “Geoff (James Bond) Smith”, SCT002, PQFY4209L (fuel tainers), PSDS02280C “Peterborough Boys” with 74 more vehicles for 5670 tonnes and 1785 metres. A slight problem with an out of gauge load (the panel had shifted) on wagon PQMY2782K had the train holding the main for a bit longer than expected. It got away towards Kalgoorlie at 1336 hrs under pa W78.
- 3MP1 was next into Parky under pa W79 with 6006, 6004 and QCAY2G at 1417 hrs. it was held here for a while due to congestion at West Kal. Arrival at West Kal was at 1500 hrs, and departed west at 1508 hrs.

Saturday 5th June, 2010.
- 5SP5 with NR68, NR50, BRS225 and BRS222 at Parkeston 0720hrs.
- AC4302 Sulphur to Lenora at Piccadilly St 0737 hrs.
- 6PS7 NR97, NR99, RQHY7072Q and RZDY106N ‘Bittern’ crossed 5SP5 at Parkeston at 0755hrs.
- 5SP5 departed west out of Parkeston at 0805hrs.
- 7C71 lime train with LZ3109 long end leading worked to Parkeston passing track under proceed authority W29 arriving at 0840hrs. Train then shunts back into Cockburn Lime sidings, while DE49 holds the western leg of the triangle. LZ cut off runs back into passing track, while DE49 shunts wagons back into plant for unloading.
- 7C72, LZ3109 departed for West Kal at 0858hrs.
- 7405 ballast train behind L3113 crossed the rail grinder at Hampton.
- 6PM7 worked under proceed authority W33 from Kalgoorlie to Curtin with NR45, NR21 and RZDY100F ‘Mopoke’, straight through on the main at Parkeston 0930hrs.
- 6PM9 SCT002, SCT007, PQFY4209L (fuel tainers) and PSDS02280C “Peterborough Boys” crew van, for 4118 tonnes, 1798 metres and 75 vehicles, proceed authority W36 Kal to Golden Ridge to cross 5MP9. Had a short stop at Parkeston at 1022 hrs.
- 5MP9 SCT 001, SCT12, PQFY3047 and PDAY003K “Monica Ivey Smith”, arrived at Parkeston 1110 hrs and crossed 6PM6. This SCT service is half SCT, half QRN loading.
- 6PM6 with NR94, NR98, RQHY7043-B and BRS222 rolled thru Parky at 1220 hrs.
- 5MP9 departed west at 1228 hrs with 80 vehicles, 5150 tonnes for 1789 metres.
- 7415 loaded ore behind AC4308, AC4306 and AC4301, A-A-B on the west leg of the Binduli triangle, departed at for Esperance at 1249 hrs.
- 5MP7 NR117 and NR116 operating under proceed authority W58 Blamey to Kalgoorlie, through Parkeston at 1510hrs.
- DE49 shunted out from plant to west leg of Parkeston triangle at 1527hrs.
- 7C73 with LZ3114 arrived at 1539hrs.
- 7C74 departed Parkeston at 1600hrs with LZ3114 long end leading.
- 5MP5 with NR78, NR119 and FAM2389 at Parkeston 1855 hrs.
- 7PX4 with NR83, NR90 and BRS221, 43 vehicles for 1276 tonnes and 801 metres into Parkeston loop and crossed 5MP5 at 1905hrs.

Sunday 8th June, 2010.
- 1C71 was worked to Parkeston by LZ3107 which was left shutdown in the Cockburn Lime yard complex. DE49 was busy shunting wagons around.
- 6MP4 with NR1 (wearing a Scania sticker!), NR110 and RZEY1K into Parkeston 0856hrs. Two sets of Toll RRXY 5 pack well sets in consist, 7N and 2Y.
- 6MP9 was in to Parkeston under PA W77 from Golden Ridge to Kalgoorlie at 1020 hrs behind SCT005, SCT015, PQFY4256B, PDAY001V “Robert Mervin Yates”. Train details: 74 vehicles for 5667 tonnes and 1793 metres.
- 6MP1 QRN service was punted off the main at Golden Ridge to cool it’s heals till around 1500hrs due to no path on Westnet Rail’s network. It arrived at Golden Ridge at 1138 hrs behind 6008, LDP002 and CDBY255J “Curlew” crew car, and stabled.
- 6MP7 ran through it at 1218hrs behind NR28 and NR73.
- Merredin, 1PS6 with NR50 and NR68 was in the crossing loop at 1600hrs.
Three AB units were also sighted at loco.
- Grass Valley, 1PM5 with NR119, NR78, NR92, NR23 and FAM2389S crossed 6MP4 with NR1, NR110 and RZEY1K at 1730 hrs.
