Radio Frequencies in use on the Railways
The following list of frequencies have been heard in use around the Albany region.
166.450Mhz - Ch 71 used to contact control or other trains outside of Albany yard
450.050Mhz - Used by crews for local chit chat/unloading/shunting
411.625Mhz - used by the Woodchipper during the loading/unloading process
412.750Mhz - New frequency for Albany, currently used by grain trains unloading at CBH
166.580Mhz - Used by John Holland crews working in the area between 18-19 Feb 2010
471.850Mhz - Used by the crew onboard SSR`s RA212 while in the Albany region 18-19 Feb 2010
