New Radio frequency for Albany Empty New Radio frequency for Albany

Post  stew6330 Tue Feb 16, 2010 11:27 am

There is a new radio frequency in use during the unloading process of the grain trains at the CBH complex in Albany. The new frequency being used is 412.750Mhz, the one previously used during unloading was 450.050Mhz. Why the new one is being used or for how long it will be used I do not know yet.
Other frequencies in use in the Albany area currently are; 166.450Mhz used to contact control or other trains not in town.
411.625Mhz used by the Woodchipper during the loading/unloading process. 450.050Mhz used for local train to train chit chat, yard crews.
Hope this will be of use for anyone planning a visit to Albany.
