Does anyone know if there going to be any steam at Pemberton Tramway this year?
Its been a few years now since the V last operated, or the Y class diesels.

Steam operations recommemce tomorrow 02/5 out of Pinjarra to Dwellingup with at departure 1030.
HVR will again run Pinjarra Dwellingup on Wednesdays commencing 05/05.
Will run twice a week till 31th October.

The steam season generally starts in MAy,as fire bans lifted. they take this threat of fires deeply,as you will see the the repairs to track after 2 massive fires couple of years go.View on website.Visit the Pinjarra Tourist Bureau on station site,read "Rails to Pinjarra ""on sale,also plus other souvenirs at Dwellingup station.
Talk to Ian Willis if you see him.

Usually runs May to October first Sunday in May is 2nd would be the first trip providing no fire bans or other delays.
